Boy held in Mandan shooting

MANDAN, N.D. (AP) - A teenage suspect is in custody following a shooting in Mandan.

KFGO reports officers responded to a call shortly after 9:30 p.m. Sunday about someone yelling obscenities and then a report of shots fired in the same area. Officers were flagged down by two people who reported a shooting.

The woman, who was shot in the back, was taken to a Bismarck hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A 16-year-old boy is in custody at the Youth Correctional Center in Mandan.
