A snowstorm that arrived overnight is creating another messy commute in northern New England.
The National Weather Service said the storm is expected to dump 3 to 6 inches of snowfall across inland areas of Maine and New Hampshire before ending late Thursday morning.
Meteorologist Eric Sinsabaugh said the storm a “quick hitter” that won’t linger.
But it will create slippery conditions for motorists.
He says there will be lower snowfall totals in southern and coastal areas where the snow will turn over to rain. Those areas can expect 1 to 3 inches of snow.
