WAYNE, N.J. (AP) - A New Jersey man faces criminal charges in a multi-vehicle crash that left three people dead and others injured.

Passaic County prosecutors allege that 29-year-old Jason Vanderee of Glenwood in Sussex County was driving at excessive speed before the crash at a Delta gas station on Route 23 Tuesday morning.

Fifty-year-old Jon Warbeck of Fair Lawn and his 17-year-old son were killed along with gas station attendant Lovedeep Fatra of Pequannock. Occupants of two vehicles had minor injuries.

Vanderee has been charged with aggravated manslaughter and death by auto while intoxicated, in addition to drug charges. His scheduled court appearance Wednesday was postponed when court closed early due to snow.

A listed number for Vaderee couldn’t be found Wednesday and it’s unclear whether he has an attorney.
