PHOENIX (AP) - Police in Phoenix say a pedestrian has been fatally struck by a vehicle.

They say the man was pronounced dead at the scene Sunday morning.

His name and age are not immediately known.

Police say the man was struck at the intersection of 63rd Avenue and Thomas Road and pronounced dead at the scene.

They say the driver remained at the scene and impairment doesn’t seem to be a factor in the fatal accident.
