LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Not even a minute for security

OPINION:

If each hour in a 40-hour work week equaled $100 billion, it would be equivalent to the $4-trillion annual U.S. budget. In that 40 hours, $1.375 billion allotted for the border wall is equivalent to 50 seconds.

“Good fences make good neighbors.” Just ask Nancy Pelosi and smirking Chuck Schumer. A mere $1.375 billion is too little for the wall to prove substantive. Good luck.

The word disproportionate comes to mind when I think of the amounts of time and money that have been designated for this issue.
