CLINTON, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee authorities say two people have died and one was injured in a mobile home fire.
News outlets report the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said the fire Wednesday night destroyed the home. Tyler Mays, who is director of administrative services for the sheriff’s office, says a female who survived the blaze was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with serious burns.
Mays said fire crews arrived to find the structure fully engulfed in flames. He said crews worked for about an hour to extinguish the blaze enough to get inside to look for victims. Authorities did not release any names, but said all three were adults.
He says officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
