OPINION:
As noted in “’Standard for equality’: Congressional Democrats push for huge expansion to 1964 Civil Rights Act” (Web, Feb. 11): “The Equality Act would insert “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” into protections throughout the 1964 Civil Rights Act. But there is no logic for doing so.
The whole LGBTQ movement is based on false premises and the denial of reality. Pro-LGBTQ people want us to believe obvious disorders such as transgenderism and homosexuality are not disorders and should not be treated as such. They want us to believe that clearly immoral sexual activity, such as homosexual activity, is moral.
For the extremist pro-LGBTQ crowd, disordered feelings trump science, logic and natural law. This crowd actually wants to force psychologists and psychiatrists into malpractice by treating obvious mental problems as if they are not problems at all. This is surreal. Beam me up, Scotty! The inmates (heterophobic homosexuals) are taking over the asylum.
