Small fire forces brief evacuation of mental health facility

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Albuquerque authorities say a mental health facility was briefly evacuated Tuesday because of a small fire inside one room.

Officials say the fire at Desert Hills of New Mexico Mental Health Facility was extinguished quickly Tuesday and that firefighters used electric fans to clear smoke from the building.

There were no injuries.

Cause of the fire was not disclosed.
