SEARSBURG, Vt. (AP) -
A 19-year-old woman was killed Sunday in a crash on Vermont Route 9 in the town of Searsburg, police said.
Pooja Meyer, of Guilford, was traveling east when she lost control of her car after passing another vehicle. She then crossed into the westbound lane where she collided with a truck, police said.
Meyer was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the truck was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
