OPINION:
The first thing that popped into my mind as the Democrats conducted Wednesday’s impeachment hearing was “The Three Stooges” show, because it truly was a Hollywood performance (“GOP witness says there is no evidence of bribery in impeachment inquiry,” Web, Dec. 4). It was orchestrated by the counsel representing the Democrats, as he gave complete latitude to the “stooges” and stiff-armed professor Jonathan Turley.
In summarizing the short period of time that I could handle watching this farce, I have concluded that my beliefs about the Hollywood production that is the impeachment attempt have not changed. If anything, they have been strengthened.
Our president will remain our president. Thanks, Nancy Pelosi, for being so weak as to allow this dramatic and repulsive presentation to expose the underbelly of a corrupt Democratic House of Representatives.
