PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (AP) - A man and a teenager were wounded during a shooting at a Chinese restaurant in Philadelphia on Christmas, police said.
At least 30 shots were fired at the Jade Garden takeout restaurant late Wednesday night, Chief Inspector Scott Small told WPVI-TV.
A man who was found on the restaurant’s floor was taken to Temple University Hospital with life-threatening injuries, Small said. A 16-year-old boy was also shot once in the leg.
Witnesses told police that the man was picking up food when he was shot. Police say the man is in his 40s or 50s and is a regular customer at the restaurant.
Police did not identify the victims. No additional information was available.
