LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Las Vegas police officer avoided critical injury after his patrol vehicle was involved in collision.
Authorities say the officer’s car collided with a Nissan sedan Sunday around 3 p.m. near Lake Mead Boulevard and Rancho Drive.
The unidentified officer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was not hurt and cooperated with investigators.
Police at this time do not believe impairment played a factor.
