MILFORD, Del. (AP) - Police in Delaware are investigating a traffic accident that left a pedestrian dead.

Delaware State Police say 52-year-old George A. Burton was struck Friday evening while trying to cross a road in Milford.

Police say Burton was initially struck by an 80-year-old man driving a Chrysler and was then hit by two other vehicles. Police said the man driving the Chrysler stopped and remained on the scene while the other two drivers did not.

Police said Burton was not wearing reflective clothing or carrying a light and did not use a crosswalk. He was transported to a local hospital where he died.
