WILLISTON, Vt. (AP) - A plan for a 132-unit housing subdivision would shrink a golf course in Vermont’s most populous county.
Developer Christopher Senesac is requesting town approval for the subdivision at the Catamount Golf Course in Williston.
MyNBC5 reports preliminary plans call for a mix of single-family homes and multiunit buildings, with a combination of rentals and owned units. It would also create two new roads, a recreation path and sports amenities.
Williston Town Planner Matt Boulanger says it would be one of the largest projects the town has seen in years.
The golf course would shrink from nine holes to three.
The project is scheduled to get its first hearing before the Williston Development Review Board on Dec. 10.
