BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Authorities say they evacuated a six-story Vermont hotel after a fire broke out on the rooftop.

The fire was put out in less than half an hour Tuesday night at the Hotel Vermont in Burlington. Firefighters say no one was hurt.

Investigators believe the fire started in a first-floor restaurant pizza oven and spread through a duct system to the roof.

Police blocked off streets and rerouted drivers.

Guests were allowed back inside at about 1 a.m. Wednesday.
