OPINION:
While growing a business, I had to scrape along in “higher education” one class at a time. It was everything for the sake of convenience, not because I loved every subject. I missed a lot of American history, so it was only over time that I came to appreciate the fantastic foundation and wealth of knowledge the Founders passed down to us via the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Why is it so difficult for the intellectuals — those who attended school full-time on their parents’ tickets — to understand the importance of the decisions made and the rules set down by our Founders? Why do they impose restrictions on our freedoms while at the same time making laws that allow chaos and trauma in society? Because of this sort of thinking, we have produced numerous inept and socially deranged individuals.
We must come back to our basic tenets and rip apart the myriad laws that state and federal government have imposed upon us. Let’s get back to the Golden Rule and make our country great again.
