PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. (AP) - An eastern Nebraska man has been charged with manslaughter in the traffic crash death last month of a woman.
The Omaha World-Herald reports that that 35-year-old Jade Gunn, of Murray, was ordered held Tuesday on $100,000 after he was charged with manslaughter for the June 30 crash just southwest of Plattsmouth that saw 58-year-old Tammy Martin, also of Murray, die from her injuries weeks later.
Investigators say Gunn ran a stop sign and crashed into Martin’s car. Police say he left the scene of the crash, even after a witness tried to stop him.
Martin was the owner of a well-known Louisville ice cream shop called Mrs. T’s Dari Creme.
