CINCINNATI (AP) - An Ohio student is facing assault charges after allegedly bringing marijuana-laced brownies to school, sending four students to the hospital.

Lauren Worley is a spokeswoman for Cincinnati city schools. She says six children ate the brownies Thursday and four were hospitalized for vomiting and dizziness, with one still in the hospital.

Officials are trying to determine if the students knew what they were eating.

The 15-year-old student who allegedly brought in the brownies to the district’s Woodward Career Center was charged with five counts of felonious assault.
