NORFOLK, Neb. (AP) - Northeast Community College is raising money to build new agriculture facilities on the college’s Norfolk campus.

Officials said Thursday what will become the Agriculture and Water Center of Excellence will give students an opportunity to learn in state-of-the-art facilities.

The Acklie Charitable Foundation announced a $5 million lead gift for the $23 million project.



Officials hope to begin construction in spring 2020.
