FORSYTH, Ga. (AP) - A Georgia couple has died in a Saturday house fire.

Monroe County Emergency Services says firefighters were called to a home north of Forsyth late Saturday by a neighbor reporting a fire.

The home was almost entirely in flames when they arrived, firefighters say, with surround grass and cars also burning.

Firefighters knew an elderly couple lived in the house, and finally found the bodies of 91-year-old Virginia Adair and 87-year-old Morris Adair using a thermal imaging camera.

The bodies were sent to a crime lab to find out the cause of death. Firefighters say they’re investigating the fire’s cause.
