PHOENIX (AP) - Police in Phoenix say a man is dead and a woman seriously injured after a three-car crash in which speed may have been a factor.
They say the accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say 24-year-old Salvador Banda Jr. was the driver of one of the cars involved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
They say a 36-year-old woman driving another vehicle suffered serious injuries in the collision, but they aren’t believed to be life-threatening.
Police say a 53-year-old man who was driving the third car involved escaped injury as did his 24-year-old male passenger.
An investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing.
