ATLANTA (AP) - A shooting outside a fast food restaurant near downtown Atlanta has killed two men and sprayed another vehicle with gunfire.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office says 43-year-old Steve Sanon and 37-year-old Denorris Clark were killed Sunday night.
Atlanta police Lt. Andrea Webster tells WSB-TV the men were having what appeared to be a friendly conversation with people inside a black SUV. Then someone inside the vehicle started shooting. It’s unclear if the dead men shot back.
Bullets also hit a vehicle in the drive-thru. A Georgia State University student and a friend weren’t injured. Georgia State police Chief Joseph Spillane says the two weren’t involved in the dispute.
Detectives found a gun, but it may not be the weapon used.
Atlanta police say they’re searching for the black SUV.
