CHESTER, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a 55-year-old worker has died on the job at a Chester County plant that makes plastic sheeting.
Chester County Coroner Terry Tinkler said Melvin Simpson died around 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Carolina Poly Inc. plant near Chester.
Authorities did not release any details about what happened to Simpson and the company did not comment to media outlets.
Carolina Poly Inc. opened two years ago and makes plastic sheeting that is turned into items like trash bags and shrink wrap.
