OPINION:
I’ve had it, and the public should also be angered by Democratic congressional subcommittees behaving like juveniles when things don’t materialize in their favor. Not since before the Democrats gained control of the House has this behavior been so apparent.
When focus is concentrated on one thing (to topple the Trump administration), all else suffers due to neglect. Some of the House members leading in this dangerous game are Reps. Alan Schiff, Eric Swalwell and Jerry Nadler, who are accusing Attorney General William Barr of misusing the Department of Justice. To the contrary, Mr. Barr is following procedures of the law before releasing the Mueller report to Congress, the president and public. It should only be released after necessary redactions are done to protect grand jury information not pertinent to the overall conclusion of the report. Not redacting this text would compromise national security by exposing classified information and damaging the reputation of individuals not under further investigation. Some of these people were in the scope of the Mueller probe, wrongly accused, and their families have suffered dearly.
If sanity is ever restored to Congress, the country must find out how this fiasco happened and why it is still being allowed to continue — with the mainstream media’s blessing.
