NEWTON, Mass. (AP) - Fire officials in Newton say they have recovered a man’s body following an early-morning house fire.

The man’s 92-year-old mother was rescued from the burning home by firefighters around 4 a.m. Saturday and taken to a hospital.

The body of the 63-year-old man was later found in the basement. His name was not immediately released.
