Seventy-two-year-old President Trump said Friday he is “still young” as he considers a possible race in 2020 against former Vice President Joseph Biden, who’s 76.

“I still feel like a young man. I’m still young,” Mr. Trump told reporters at the White House. “I’m a young, vibrant man.”

Appearing on “The View” Friday, Mr. Biden retorted, “If he looks young and vibrant compared to me, I should probably go home.”

Mr. Biden, nicknamed “Sleepy Joe” by the president, declared his candidacy Thursday for the Democratic nomination. One of his chief rivals in polls, Sen. Bernard Sanders of Vermont, is 77.

The president will turn 73 on June 14. His personal physician said after an exam earlier this year that Mr. Trump is in excellent physical condition.
