RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police say they’ve made an arrest in connection with an investigation into a downtown shooting near the Truckee River.
Police said Wednesday 25-year-old Mariah Miller is not necessarily a suspect in Friday’s shooting near Reno Justice Court.
Officers who responded to the early morning shooting say they found three people, including one suffering from a gunshot wound.
They say Miller was armed with a handgun and determined to be under the influence of alcohol. The shooting victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Miller has been charged with one count of intoxicated person in possession of a firearm.
It’s not clear if she has a lawyer or will be appointed one.
