BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) - Fire officials say one person was killed and another was injured in an early morning fire at a two-family home in Bristol.

The fire was reported at about 2 a.m. Thursday.

Deputy Chief Bob Poggio says one person died on the scene and another was transported to the hospital. The man who died lived on the first floor. No names were released.



Two other people made it out of the home under their own power.

It took firefighters about 20 minutes to get the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
