RENO, Nev. (AP) - A man who was pulled from the Truckee River near downtown Reno has died.

Reno Fire crews say the man was face down in the river before they rescued him at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday near Brodhead Park and Kuenzli Street.

KOLO-TV reports he had no heartbeat when he was transported to a nearby hospital. His death was confirmed on Monday.



Fire officials say they don’t know how he got into the river or how long he had been in the cold waters.

His death remains under investigation. His name has not been released.
