BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s Legislature has passed a bill that establishes occupational license reciprocity for military spouses.
The House passed the measure unanimously on Monday. It now heads to Gov. Doug Burgum for his signature.
The bill would allow military spouses who are licensed in a field in another state to get a similar license in North Dakota.
North Dakota is home to some 7,000 active duty airmen at Air Force bases in Minot and Grand Forks. Another 4,000 North Dakotans serve in the National Guard and Air Guard.
