PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - Prescott National Forest officials say crews have established a containment line around 80% of a 16-acre wildfire at Lynx Lake, a popular recreation site on the outskirts of Prescott.

A statement released Saturday by forest officials said crews would work to improve the line, extinguish any hot spots and start mopping up.

According to forest officials, the fire was reported Friday east of the boat ramp on the lake’s south shore.

The statement said the fire was human caused and under investigation.
