BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota Oil and Gas Division officials say a pipeline leak caused 21,000 gallons of brine to spill at a central tank battery 12 miles southwest of Stanley.

Officials say all but 2,100 gallons had been recovered by Tuesday morning. They say the product was contained on-site and cleanup was under way at the Whiting Oil and Gas Corporation site.

A state inspector was sent to the site and will monitor additional cleanup.
