KILLINGLY, Conn. (AP) - Police say a person found dead inside a Connecticut home destroyed by a fire last week has been identified as a 27-year-old woman from Webster, Massachusetts.

State police on Tuesday identified the victim as Kaliegh Rockwood.

Her body was found Thursday inside the two-story house in Killingly that was gutted by an overnight fire.

Fire officials said they believed the house was vacant and it was not clear why Rockwood was inside.
