MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - A paraglider has been injured after crashing onto a mountain outside Missoula.

Witnesses say the man in his 60s fell about 100 to 150 feet (30.5 to 45.7 meters) around 2 p.m. Monday into trees in a ravine on Mount Sentinel.

Missoula Fire Department Battalion Chief Dave Wolter says an off-duty Missoula firefighter was in the area at the time and helped guide a helicopter and firefighters to where the paraglider had crashed.

The man, whose name was not released, was flown to St. Patrick Hospital with possible back injuries.
