MEHLVILLE, Mo. (AP) - Two suburban St. Louis students have been charged with threatening violence at their high school.

Charges say 18-year-old Clara Hulsey and 17-year-old Simon Scheipeter posted a message Tuesday to social media saying “all u mfs gon drop dead when this colt 45 blast u by the lockers.”

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the two Mehlville High School students each were charged Thursday with a misdemeanor count of making a terrorist threat. Bail for each was set at $20,000.

Scheipeter’s attorney, Greg Smith, says his client had no intention of causing any violence. He says they “appreciate the school officials and law enforcement taking this very seriously” and are “investigating the origins of the posting.” No attorney is listed for Hulsey in online court records.
