OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Police say a 47-year-old man died after his car was struck by a school bus on Interstate 680 in north Omaha.
The accident occurred around 4:25 p.m. Wednesday. Police say Bradley Uecker clipped the front of another car after passing it in the eastbound lanes, and both cars spun into the grass median. Uecker’s car continued into the westbound lanes, where the bus hit it.
Debris from that crash struck another westbound car.
Police say Uecker died after being taken to a hospital. The school bus driver was treated for minor injuries at another hospital. The driver was the only person on the bus.
Police say the drivers of the two other vehicles involved in the chain-reaction crash were not injured.
