DETROIT (AP) - Two Detroit men are facing charges after allegedly opening fire on two Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents on the city’s east side.

The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office said Thursday that 21-year-old Kevin Keshawn Young and 20-year-old Aaron Marquis Shooks each are charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder and two counts felonious assault. Young also is charged with carrying a concealed weapon in motor vehicle and five felony firearms counts.

A third man, 21-year-old Damesha Latay Few of Redford, is charged with carrying a concealed weapon in motor vehicle.

Prosecutors say the ATF agents were following a car containing the men when one of them got out and opened fire on the agents Monday.

It wasn’t clear whether the men have attorneys who might comment.
