WINDSOR, Colo. (AP) - The Latest on a trench collapse that trapped two construction workers (all times local):

Emergency responders say two Colorado construction workers trapped in a trench collapse have died.
The Coloradoan reports authorities confirmed the deaths seven hours after the 15-foot-deep (4.5-meter-deep) trench gave way.
Family members cried and one left in an ambulance after they learned of the deaths Tuesday night.
The men have not been publicly identified.
Windsor Severance Fire Rescue Chief Kris Kazian said crews had used a PVC pipe to communicate with one of the trapped workers for several hours.
Kazian said the cause of the collapse is unknown.

Rescuers in Colorado are working to free two construction workers who became trapped when a trench collapsed.
The Coloradan reports that the Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue service has been able to communicate with one of the men who were trapped after a 15-foot-deep (about 5 meters) trench collapsed at a work site near northwest Windsor.
A department official says crews began working to dig the men out around 2:20 p.m., and at 4:45 p.m. said their rescue from the site about 17 miles (27 kilometers) from Fort Collins could still be hours away.
The newspaper reports that 30 people from area rescue agencies have responded.
