LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities say a kayaker was struck and killed by a power boat Monday in a popular Los Angeles marina.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Deryl Walker tells the Los Angeles Times that a power boat about 50 feet long hit the kayaker in Marina del Rey.
He says a woman’s body has been recovered but has yet to be identified.
Walker says there was “no evidence of a crime,” but the death remains under investigation.
