BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say a 76-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle accident near Bismarck.

The Highway Patrol says the accident happened at 10:17 p.m. about five miles northwest of Bismarck. The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and entered a ditch, where it struck two large trees.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.



The crash remains under investigation.
