OPINION:
After observing an ’impotent’ Congress for many years, I now ask if a citizen can sue Congress. My reasons are many, mostly because of the way our current laws are being ignored/abused/misconstrued by those who created them. Consider, for example, how our existing immigration laws are ignored, how there is no consideration of “innocent until proven guilty” for Judge Brett Kavanaugh, or the absence of discussion of the sexual-assault charges against Democrats Rep. Keith Ellison and Sen. Sherrod Brown. Consider, too, the “resist at all costs” approach employed by the Democratic Party.
None of the above demonstrates that our Congress has the ability to perform the jobs for which they were elected. I, as just one of “we, the people,” want to know what I can do to put an end to the disservice of which we have been victims.
