STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) - Police in Connecticut say a 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash over the weekend.
Stamford Police Sgt. Andrew Gallagher says the male victim was not wearing a helmet when he crashed into a turning Jeep on Sunday night. The Stamford Advocate reports that the 18-year-old driver of the Jeep remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
Officials say the motorcyclist suffered severe injuries in the crash and died after being transported to an area hospital.
Police are investigating.
