SPARKS, Nev. (AP) - Police say two teenagers were being treated for life-threatening wounds after reports of pre-dawn gunfire in the city of Sparks near Reno.
Sparks Police said Saturday that gunfire was reported at about 2 a.m. during an altercation in a parking lot and that two youths, ages 18 and 17, arrived a short time later at a local hospital with life threatening wounds.
Officers say they found multiple fired shell casings and that witnesses saw people firing handguns at the parking lot near the intersection of Oddie Boulevard and Sullivan Lane.
Detectives were seeking more information.
