STROUDSBURG, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a three-vehicle crash in the Pocono mountains killed three people.
Emergency dispatchers in Monroe County said the crash happened at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday along Route 209 in Stroud Township.
The names of the victims weren’t immediately released. The cause and circumstances of the crash weren’t immediately released.
The four-way intersection has been the scene of severe crashes in the past. Last year, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced plans to remove a traffic light and ban left-hand turns, but said construction won’t begin until 2020.
