ADDISON, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife is inviting the public to the 17th annual Dead Creek Wildlife Day in the town of Addison.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6.
The day will begin with a bird banding demonstration at 7 a.m. Two tents at Dead Creek headquarters will open at 9:30 a.m. and feature wildlife-related exhibits and activities such as decoy carving, building bluebird boxes and wildlife photography.
The visitor center, which features displays about conservation and wildlife management in Vermont, will be open for its regular hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
