CYNTHIANA, Ky. (AP) - Police say the body of a missing fisherman has been recovered from a river in Kentucky.
News outlets report the body of 77-year-old Harold Porter Lamb was found Thursday morning. Officials say the man’s body was recovered two miles downriver from the Terry Dam.
Harrison County Search and Rescue Team Chief ReJeana Craft said Sunday that Lamb’s boat had gotten too close to the Terry Dam during a fishing tournament Saturday. Another person that Lamb went fishing with swam to safety.
Officials say the search for Lamb was halted until Thursday due to unsafe conditions.
