MAYVILLE, N.D. (AP) - A passenger in a pickup truck that crashed in Traill County has died and the driver has been cited for drunken driving.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the pickup left a road near Mayville shortly after midnight Friday and flipped over, killing a 34-year-old Portland man.
Authorities say the 45-year-old Mayville man driving the truck was taken to Sanford hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The patrol says he’s been charged with driving under the influence.
The patrol says it was snowing at the time of the crash.
