2 women killed in wreck in southern Mississippi

GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - Two women have died in a wreck in southern Mississippi.

News outlets reported the wreck involved a car and a pickup truck around 3 p.m. Wednesday at an intersection on U.S. 49 in Gulfport.

Harrison says the victims were 81-year-old Ernestine Lee of Saucier and 73-year-old Linda Dubose of Gulfport. Harrison says Lee was driving the car. She died at the scene. Dubose died at a hospital.
