GOSHEN, N.Y. (AP) - Orange County’s executive says he expects to be deployed overseas soon with the U.S. Navy.
County Executive Steven Neuhaus says he expects to be called to active duty early next year and that the assignment will likely include an overseas deployment. The Hudson Valley resident serves in the Navy Reserves as a lieutenant commander assigned to special operations.
He says his administration has a solid leadership team that will continue to work during his deployment.
Neuhaus expects to undergo training stateside this year.
