LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in Las Vegas have released body-camera videos that show officers reviewing hotel security footage from nearly two dozen screens inside the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino the night of the mass shooting just over a year ago.
The footage made public Wednesday shows officers spending hours in the hotel security office and a security office of the nearby T-Mobile arena where security officers monitor ubiquitous cameras on casino properties.
The videos are among 11 files with more than eight hours of footage released by police under a public-records lawsuit.
Police say they closed their investigation without finding the motive of the gunman who killed 58 people and injured hundreds of others on Oct. 1, 2017.
A final FBI report is expected by the end of 2018.
